Christina started her journey in healthcare in the early part of 1994. She developed a passion for caring, calming, and compassion. She worked as an Emergency Medical Technician in the Emergency Department at Cy-fair Hospital, volunteered many hours at Cypress Creek EMS, all while attending college. During these early endeavors she gained unmatched hands on experienced with many patients who were critically ill, other unexpected accidents, or medical emergencies. the next 30 years held experience in Neonatal ICU, Pediatric Emergency Room, Nursery, Mother/Baby, Primary Care, and Triage. She earned the following college degrees each as a steppingstone to the next. Associate Degrees of Science in Nursing from Lonestar College in Houston, Texas. From there, she attended The University of Texas, Medical Branch, Galveston and earned her bachelor's degree in nursing. Always reaching higher, she attended Texas Tech University Health Science Center and earned her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner at Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Additionally, she earned a Post Masters Certificate in Emergency Trauma Concentration at the University of Texas Health Science Center in the Texas Medical Center.
Showing all humans the up most compassion, dignity, love, and empathy she often could be found following up with patients who were admitted to the hospital.
Christina's responsibilities as a registered nurse and an advanced practice registered nurse have never been a daunting task but always a servant's heart.
